Like you, we believe that what you choose to feed your canine companion should be as wholesome and nutritious as what you choose to feed yourself.
That's why our treats are handcrafted in small batches using only human-grade ingredients produced through sustainable agricultural practices.
Patricia McGrath has been rescued by five dogs in the last few years.
She's shown here with Aengus and Boudica - proud American Shelter Dogs. They're much bigger now and the family has grown to include other rescues: Thor, a Dogo Argentino who just happens to be deaf, and Brutus, a Cane Corso.
Her beloved Zeus, a Dogue de Bordeaux, also a rescue, passed away in 2012.
Laughing Paw Farm Dog Treats are his legacy.
Patricia holds a PhD in Animal Behavior and an undergraduate degree in Farm Management.
Despite being a country girl born and raised, she moved to New York City to work for the Wildlife Conservation Society as an Animal Curator.
While there she was responsible for the nutrition, training, and enrichment programs for the lucky animals under her care. She concurrently taught classes in the Animal Behavior and Conservation master's degree program at Hunter College and more recently in the Psychology Department at Vassar College.
But it's hard to keep 'em in the city once they've been down on the farm.
She now lives in upstate New York, on a small bit of acreage that she is developing into a working micro-farm, and focusing her considerable skills on enriching the furry lives of those that so enrich our own.
